Final Concert for 2020 and Barbecue - Hearing Birdsong theme

In a year plentiful in memorable concerts we will finish the year by melodically filling the stage with a cacophony of delightful sounds by exploring the theme ‘Hearing Birdsong".

With this theme we will invite you to explore how either birds or sound have shaped our experience of music, as song lyrics and titles have chirped and tweeted in our ears and accompanied us through the significant events of our lives the background to noteworthy moments. Musicians will include: Angelfish (Rachel Bayliss, Anne McMahon & Sarah Templeton), Martin Kraakman and Rosie Laing, The Port Hillbillies, Ken Hunter, Kristina Godfrey and Tony Hale ....... your dawn chorus performance can feature as well email your interest.

Doors open 5.30 pm BBQ @ 6pm

Hearing Birdsong concert will be in three sets: 6:15-7:15pm; 7:30-8:20pm and 8:40-9:30pm.

$15 non-members (BBQ and concert - if you arrive for the BBQ this will be included in the entry fee).

Admission will be free for members, free food and a fantastic concert! The Folk Club’s thank you for all the support you have given us over the year. Members please book your tickets by emailing

We are expecting a large amount of support for this event therefore have opted for a larger venue for the night
