Hear about the North Shore's incredible natural treasures and one family's island story over three generations. Presented by Philip Moll, Katina Conomos, and Sue Neureuter with sound and pictures. Be moved by this fascinating insight into our unique marine and coastal environments that are on North Shore's doorstep - and to which we are all connected.
Shoal Bay is home to some of New Zealand's rarest and most endangered bird species. Some, like the bar-tailed Godwit, make the longest single journey of any shore bird in the world - migrating to breeding grounds in Alaska every year. Sue Neureuter's family have owned the Noises Islands over three generations and she shares her family's experience of this unique and precious environment, the changes they have recorded, and the scientific and conservation research they have partnered.
