Waterloo and Waiwhetu Kindergartens in conjunction with Hutt City Kindergartens, and supported by Mitre 10 MEGA Petone, are excited to invite you to join us for an afternoon of fun!

The day starts at 1pm, with music and kids entertainment, and then the two 500 metre colour walks will commence at 2 pm and 3 pm.

We see this Family Colour Fun Day as an opportunity to bring our community together for a few hours of fun, with the chance to participate in some really cool, low cost activities that will help raise some funds for Waiwhetu and Waterloo Kindergartens.

We will have a sausage sizzle and drinks for sale, but feel free to bring your own picnic down to the park. Don't forget your water!

Our main event will be the fun colour walks around Trafalgar Park, with paint available for sale on the walk for when you have over-indulged in paint too early.

You will need a ticket to take part in the colour walks. Additional colour packets can be purchased on the day, where you can buy 2 additional packets for $5.

As well as the colour walks, we will have some other affordable activities available including an inflatable obstacle course, bouncy castles, and battery operated cars. The money raised from these activities will go to the two kindergartens.

Tips for the day:
- Wear old clothes, mostly white is best so the colours stand out! The powdered paint can be washed out in cold water, but just in case, the older the clothing the better; we would hate for your new t-shirt to be ruined.
- Bring cash to buy additional colour packets, food, and to have a go on the additional activities.
- The colour used is cornstarch based, with natural food dyes. It is non-toxic and safe to use on children and adults.
- Whilst this is a Kindergarten event, Kindy teachers will not be responsible for your children. Please also be mindful of the proximity of the park to Trafalgar and Brook Streets.

Huge thanks must go to Mitre 10 MEGA Petone and Pelorus Trust for making this event possible!
