NZ Cycle Classic - Stage 1

Get dressed up, make heaps of noise and be in to win some great prizes!

This is stage one of five days of international road cycle racing in the Wairarapa. Ninety of the best riders in the world from 10 international teams and five from New Zealand compete for the podium across more than 665 km of high speed road racing. These are the guys you'll see at the Olympics and in other world tour events like the Tour de France.

Get dressed up and be on Manuka Street, Masterton as they climb the last 600m to the finish line out the front of the Masterton Golf Club. This is likely to be a bunch finish!
Be dressed up and making lots of noise to be in the running for spot prizes.

Stick around for the presentation of the first stage winners jerseys.

The riders will arrive between 12.30pm and 2.00pm after 122 km of racing. Take a picnic and settle in while you wait.
