This concert in The Great Romantic 2020 Season features two stunning choral masterpieces in one night at the Michael Fowler Centre.

Orchestra Wellington performs Gabriel Faure’s profound and much-loved Requiem, before ringing off with Russian Sergei Rachmaninoff’s brilliant Oratorio, The Bells.

A trio of New Zealand’s top opera singers, Soprano Margaret Medlyn, Tenor, Jared Holt, and Baritone Wade Kernot, and the Orpheus Choir of Wellington complete the bill in this vocal feast, Rachmaninoff: The Bells.
