The Bunny is back! After seasons at Basement Theatre (Auckland), Q Theatre (Auckland), and BATS (Wellington), Victoria Abbott (Educators TVNZ, Pop Up Globe, Red Leap Theatre, Auckland Theatre Company) is bringing her solo masterpiece RUN RABBIT to Dunedin Fringe Festival 2020!

This Fringe Victoria Abbott has a carrot in her hand ready to ride into battle against... a bratty rabbit? The army of medieval menfolk at the moat? The mysterious placard holding carol singer?

A romp through a historical siege, an invite to the #metoo conversation, verbatim clown meets monty python with a killer original soundtrack by Phoebe Hurst and Te Aihe Butler, this is a show you won't soon forget. Full to the brim with rage and mischief in equal measures, Victoria is ripping herself apart and attempting to put all the pieces back together in under an hour.

A series of explosions and interruptions.
A love letter to the late night walk home,
A time travel event to her ancestor Agnes,
And her own very deep devious rage...
Victoria Abbott is ecstatic to be joining the fray.

WINNER - Tour Ready Award, Auckland Fringe Festival Awards 2019
WINNER - Best Performance, Auckland Fringe Festival Awards 2019

"With Run Rabbit, Abbott cuts to the heart of the matter: survival. From the trenches of battle, to the seemingly delicate nature of tiny creatures and the everyday terrors of walking home at night, this is a blistering evening of fight or flight." - Theatre Scenes
