A pop-up art exhibition and daily programme of art classes at The Palms held from July 6-19. It will include a variety of works by gallery artists along with works from other local artists and art groups resulting in a true showcase of Christchurch art. Art works exhibited in the pop-up exhibition, including painting, drawing, prints and sculptures, will be for sale giving people the opportunity to purchase a unique piece of local art. The pop-up exhibition will also include a daily programme of art classes led by local artists Tony Scanlan and Maree Cole. The classes will take place between 1pm-3pm daily (there will be a small charge for classes) and a schedule plus more information about the pop-up exhibition can be found on the Brighton Gallery website. The pop-up exhibition will also include the opportunity to win a double pass to He Puna Taimoana hot pools to celebrate its opening. People can enter the competition on the gallery facebook page or website or by filling in a form at the pop-up exhibition.
