‘For the Love of the Photograph - The Art of Storytelling Workshop
A two-hour dive into the art of storytelling using any camera. During the presentation Chloe will share her experiences working as a documentary photographer over the past decade. She will also talk about the importance of light, the value of daily shooting and how being part of a community can help strengthen your voice. The workshop will be part presentation and discussion, and end with time shooting at Photo Laundry with the guidance of Chloe.
Chloe Lodge is an award winning storyteller photographer based in New Zealand. She gained her European Masters in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography in Paris in 2011 and has since lived in Malaysia, Dubai and The Seychelles working as a lifestyle family, wedding and birth photographer. Chloe recently wrote the much-loved ‘For the Love of the Photograph’, a photography recipe book designed to inspire, guide and educate photographers at every level. She is a passionate educator in the photography industry running retreats, workshops and one-one tuition. Chloe is British-born and moved ‘home’ to New Zealand with her Kiwi husband and two children.
