Imperfect Offering is delighted to return to Wellington again with a new programme of the music of Leonard Cohen. ONE SHOW ONLY at St Andrews on the Terrace, this full nine-piece band brings to life Cohen's great songs including 'Hallelujah', 'Bird on a Wire', 'So Long Marianne', 'Suzanne' and from his early years right up to his last albums.

The focus will be on Cohen’s life journey through his music on his first album Songs of Leonard Cohen in 1967 to his last album You Want it Darker released just weeks before his death in 2016. With a story that spans from a Jewish upbringing in Montreal, through Greek Island life with his muse Marianne to New York’s artist hang-out Chelsea Hotel to a Zen Buddhist sanctuary on Mount Baldy, Imperfect Offering will present the best songs from this journey.

Imperfect Offering have performed in sold out shows and standing ovations on a tour of the North Island. Venues have included New Plymouth, Whangarei, Kerikeri, Wellington, Hamilton, Napier and the Concert Chamber of the Auckland Town Hall.

"Cohen's music captured perfectly with the incredible talent of the whole band" - Radio 13 2019

Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack in everything
That’s how the light gets in.”
