We are so sorry to say that after taking into consideration the risks of running events during this time and looking at what other organisations are doing regarding planned events, we have decided the March 2020 The Vegan Ball will be CANCELLED along with the March Vegan Night Mākete. This was not an easy decision to make but we believe this is the best move to ensure the safety of our community. The Vegan Ball Committee will meet at some point to discuss whether we can hold the ball at a later date. However due to the current uncertainty, we feel it best to offer ticketholders a full refund. (These people have been contacted directly).
The Vegan Ball was a fundraiser for the Vegan Expo Christchurch, which we planned to hold in November. We still hope that you can support our fundraising efforts in other ways and that we all get to enjoy the Vegan Expo on November 8.
Thanks for understanding. We hope you stay well and that we see you at another Christchurch Vegan Society event soon.

We are excited to announce that 2020 will bring a collaboration between The Vegan Ball and The Christchurch Vegan Society. The Vegan Ball is an exciting event designed to help raise awareness and funding for important New Zealand-based animal rights charities and organisations.
Receive a welcoming mocktail on arrival and enjoy delicious dainty canapes, and a collection of sweet and tasty savoury treats all night long. Eat as little or as much as you like! Gluten free available. Other drinks available from our cash bar. Your ticket also gives you entry into the draw for a chance to win some fantastic prizes. Your generosity will help us bring the Vegan Expo to Christchurch in 2020.
