Te Raukura is bringing the laughs to celebrate re-opening. Break out of your bubble and warm yourself with some hearty laughs as some of the region's funniest comedians take centre stage in the Coastlands Theatre at Te Raukura ki Kāpiti.

Featuring three hilariously talented local comedians, Te Raukura presents The Winter Warm Up, hosted by award winning Kāpiti local comedian Cohen Holloway (who's that?) That funny guy from "Boy" to "Thor Ragnorok", yeah mainly Taika Waititi's films... But he's done other stuff too like "Fresh Eggs" and is an award winning comedian and part of The Māori Sidesteps.

Also starring Li'i Alaimoana who has been regarded as one of the country's best comedians, and one to watch. A stellar 2019 saw him win multiple awards in NZ resulting in a spot performing in the NZ Comedy Festival International Comedy Gala in Wellington, and a successful tour of Australia; selling out shows in Melbourne and Brisbane, and leaving a lasting impression in all cities including Perth, Adelaide and Sydney. The New Zealand-born Samoan and Wellington raised Comedian aims for bigger things to come, and is currently working on projects which include TV and Live Stream, and is hoping one day to go further overseas to share his brand of kiwi humour.

And Sera Devcich, as seen on 7days and The Project. Sera excels as a live stand up comic, her sharp jokes, strong stage presence and relatable humour have seen her perform across the country to a wide variety of audiences most recently opening for Ben Hurley on his nationwide tour. Sera was nominated for best female comic at the NZ comedy guild.

These three standout stand ups bring laughs to locals back at Te Raukura!
