Trustpower App Demonstration and Online Safety Event

Trustpower invites our local customers to come and meet some of the team, find out ways to make the Trustpower Mobile App work well for you and how to stay safe online from things like scam emails, website scams and requests for private information.

The Trustpower Mobile App has been designed to make managing your power, gas and broadband easy. The app provides key features exclusive to Trustpower’s customers. We are aware that many customers have not yet made the most of its features, so in this event, we would like to help you make the app work well for you and fit into your lifestyle. Please bring along your mobile.

Staying safe online
Online scams are quite common in this day and age and the scammers are getting very creative. Both our business and our customers have been exposed to scams such as:
- Phishing (emails from fake accounts which seem familiar to you)
- Asking of private information, including usernames, passwords, bank account numbers, card details
We want to let you know how you can spot the difference between fake and real accounts and requests, as well as many other tips that will help you remain free from scammers.
