Vintage Railcar Rides

Join Rm31 for a return journey from Palm Nth/ Ashhurst/ Woodville or Pahiatua and travel through the Manawatu Gorge via the Waiarapa through the Rimutaka Tunnel (2nd longest in the Southern Hemisphere) down through the Hutt Valley in Wellington then up the Manawatu through suburban Wellington with a two hour break at Paraparaumu for passenger to have a sit down meal at the Blue Train (opitional) then back on board the railcar for the last leg of the journey back to your orginating location.

Be part of a farewell party of passengers for our Senior KiwiRail Locomotive Engineer who will be driving the railcar for the very last time prior to his retirement in April.

Return trip pick up from:
Ashhurst 8.15am return 4.30pm
Woodville 8.35am return 4.50pm
Pahiatua 8.55am return 5.10pm

Prices:
- Meal & railcar (incl bus transfer, 2 piece band and Buffet lunch) $210.00 per person
- Basic seat package $$160.00 per person

T&C's trip to be confimed by KiwiRail crewing and restaurant requires 26 paying people to justify this event sadly if numbers are not reached the PRS will likely replace Paraparaumu layover with a Wellington City.
