We Run The Night is a social night run event comprising of the main half marathon distance 21km, 14km, 7km and Kids Dash events run over the flat sealed roads of Mount Maunganui.
Distances: 21km, 14km, 7km and Kids Run.
Location: The registration pick up and event is located at MT Drury on the Mount Main Beach
Event schedule for the Saturday 15th February:
2:00pm - Registration pack collection opens
6:45pm - Kids Dash
7:00pm - Registration pack collection opens
7:30pm - 21,14 & 7km runners waves commence
7:45pm - All walkers commence
10:30pm - 14 &21km Awards
10:45pm - Course cut off
11:00pm - Major Spot Prize
Website: https://www.werunthenight.co.nz course summary: Easy running on a flat sealed road surface with street lighting on 100% off the course. The road is closed to traffic. Please ensure to keep right of the centre line at all times.
Parking: There is no official parking location for this event. The best location to park is along Marine Parade. It is a short 10 minute walk to the venue from there.
Course cut off: Participants will not be able to start another lap from 10:45pm and will be rewarded a finishers medal for the lesser distance.
Bag storage: There is secure weather proof bag storage tent at the start finish area. You must use the event bag and label provided with your entry pack.
Courier packs: The event offers an option to purchase a courier registration pack that will be sent you on the 15th of January 2020. This is the best way to prevent queuing up on event day.
Spot prizes: Minor spot prizes are awarded at random with your event gear bag, a major spot prize is drawn at the completion of the 21km awards. All competitors must be onsite to win the major spot prize.
Water station: There will be access to water & Nuun Hydration on course at 2.1km and 4km on each lap, there will also be water available at the finish line.
