This Adventure Course is located at the Matakana Country Park is run by Max and his team from Action Matakana. This event starts at 9am on Sunday 5th April and involves teams of 4 working together as a team to overcome mental and physical challenges. You will be required to complete 2 laps of this 3km course (each lap has 30 obstacles to complete) some of these obstacles are climbing over 9 ft walls, crossing swing bridges, rope swings, wading through creeks and mud pits.
An enthusiastic team of 4 and sense of fun and laughter as well as a change of clothes are the essential items you will need to complete this endurance and stamina building course.
Wellsford Plunket has teamed up with Matakana Action Park, Mike Pero Real Estate (Wellsford), Bayleys (Warkworth), ASB Bank, Hireworks, Northfuels, Little Sister Coffee and Wharehine to bring you this exciting event.
Enter this challenge and as well as paying your entry fee for your team each team of 4 is encouraged to raise further funds for Wellsford Plunket to ensure this retaining wall, fencing and concreting project can be completed. For this project we are needing to raise $100,000 to get this project over the line.
Prize for the most money raised.
The team who raises the most money for this fundraising event will WIN a scenic helicopter flight for 4 with Skywork Helicopters and a lunch at Plume. A chance to relax after undertaking this exciting challenge and raising much needed funds to help this project become reality.
