Blowout Comedy

Let's begin 2021 with some BIG LAUGHS!!!

With an MC that's gigged all over the planet and two of NZ's best comedians headlining!

Hosted by Scottish comedy veteran Gary Sansome.

He's a rare sight in NZ in 2020 - an international touring comedian.

Gary Sansome is a tough speaking, (to English folk anyway) off the wall Scottish Comedian and MC. Gary has performed across the globe at some of the biggest Comedy Clubs in the UK, Ireland North America, Australia and Mainland Europe including Carolines on Broadway in New York CIty, Yuk Yuks in Toronto and the Comedy Lounge in Perth, Australia.

He has performed 5 Edinburgh Fringe Shows in 2011,2014,2015, 2016, 2017 and performed his debut solo show The Bald and the Bold at Adelaide Fringe in 2014 where he was called “Amusing and Satisfying” by Krystoff Raw. His sold-out Edinburgh debut show Bald Man Sings Rihanna received both audience and critical praise including a 5 star review from Bunbury Magazine. He annually hosts Scotfest in Tulsa, Oklahoma one of the biggest festivals celebrating Scottish Culture in North America – the festival attracts over 30,000 people across the weekend.

Headlined by Dan Brader (NZ).

Dan Brader has been in the comedy game since 2007. He's got six years of experience in the competitive, professional Australian comedy scene and stacks of stage time in his own backyard where he's performed all over NZ in comedy clubs, festivals and three solo tours. A unique cult comic with zero interest in mainstream success. Brader has an abrasive, hard hitting style where he takes on all comers with biting gags as well as turning the gun on himself. He's also a masterful storyteller with endless stories drawn from his own weird and wonderful life.

"Known for his morally-questionable storytelling, Dan has a way of making your own wild stories seem tame by comparison"-- Busselton Mail

"He walks his own line and drags the laughs out of it with a sharp shake."--Gagging For It

Headlined by Jamie Patterson (NZ)

Fresh off a smash-hit tour in 2019, Jamie Patterson was due to debut his first solo hour 'Awokening' at The Melbourne International Comedy Fest until it was cancelled due to Covid. A rising star in the New Zealand comedy circuit, pro comedian at Auckland's The Classic and Grand Finalist in the New Zealand Raw Comedy Quest, Jamie Patterson is one of the most exciting new comics to emerge from the New Zealand comedy scene. Mixing absurd observations and killer punchlines, Jamie revels in saying the unsayable whilst expertly controlling the room.

Described as one of the best comedic writers to appear on the circuit in recent years, Jamie honed his craft working as a writer in the advertising industry before bursting onto the stage armed with more punchlines than the drinks table at a high school disco.

'A mixture of observations and surreal comedy invention... He is the full package.' The Speakeasy

Featuring US comedians Kevin Passman & South Island comedians John Bagnall (Dunedin), Conor Fenelon (CHCH) and Vasu Premkumar (CHCH)
