The Bay of Islands is world famous for its stunning beauty and history, and you’ll get a real sense of this and a true, down-to-earth kiwi holiday aboard The Rock. For cruising, relaxing and adventuring in the Bay of Islands, it doesn’t get any better than this.
If your accommodation is locked in elsewhere, then our Day Cruise is for you. Hours of non-stop cruising and adventure. Our fantastic crew will take great care of you and ensure you don't miss a thing!
You'll get picked up at 8am at the Paihia Wharf by our sea shuttle who will take you on a smooth cruise to a remote and quiet bay where The Rock has been anchored overnight. After arrival and a quick safety brief we haul anchor and get underway for an exploration of the islands.
Kayaking, paddle-boarding, snorkelling, collecting seafood, guided island walk with time to explore or relax. On the way home you'll get to taste the delicacy that is kina!
On the homeward cruise watch out for the abundant marine and bird life hopefully we'll even see dolphins! We arrive back at Paihia wharf at approximately 2pm.
