Dialogue with Arts - An Encounter with the Expressive Arts

The six workshops are designed for adults who would like to explore how the expressive arts can respond and inspired people during these exceptional and uncertain times. How we can unfold our journeys and reflect this new dynamic of living through the languages of arts as a human being and as a sense of community? Dialogue with Arts provides to the local community an invitation to encounter their own expressions and development of their sense of self and confidence, valuing the engagement and interacting in a group experience through multimodal arts exploration. The focus in the present activity empowers the participants to have access to a full range of expression and provide them the opportunity to explore a sensorial experience, an imaginative and creative universe while developing skills and communication through movements, spontaneous visual art and writing.

We will interplay between the physical body, cognition, imagination, emotions and spirit. The project invites participants to consider experimentation as a working method and trusting the process in a therapeutic atmosphere. We will experience the connection between the quality of movements and the quality of art-making, valuing the differences, stimulating critical thinking and aesthetic feelings as an individual and as a group experience.

Please note it is a set of six workshops - not drop-in individual sessions.
No previous experience in dance or visual art required.
