Celebrate the last day of Chinese New Year at Lan Yuan, Dunedin Chinese Garden.
Experience the tranquil atmosphere of the garden at dusk while contemplating what the new year might bring.
With the first full moon of the new lunar year in the night sky, there will be free green tea to sip while you enjoy the sound of Chinese music, a parade of lights and Chinese cultural activities.
Parade of Lights
8 pm meet in the foyer with your lantern.
Activities throughout the evening include:
- Cultural performances in the garden.
- Find the hanging lantern riddles.
- Good luck ribbons on the wishing tree.
- A zodiac hunt around the garden for children.
- The gift shop special – 20% off all items in our giftshop.
Excludes food and beverage.
Normal admission charges apply.
Under 13 free (maximum three).
Additional charges may apply for some events, food and refreshments.
