Audrey Waugh will highlight some of the wonders found in Joanna Turnbull’s autograph album from the Manuscripts and Archives collection.

Come along to hear Audrey Waugh, Research Librarian Manuscripts discuss the many treasures that can be found in Joanna Turnbull’s autograph album. Autograph albums are books, loose-leaf binders, or other volumes containing blank leaves, on which people have written sentiments, quotations, or signatures. Joanna Turnbull’s autograph album is a wonderful example of this aide memoire. From pet hair to poems, flower cuttings to flowering romance, maiden to marriage this album captures the essence of Joanna Turnbull’s younger years.

She has a history degree and a Master of Information Studies specialising in libraries and archives from Victoria University of Wellington.
