Come celebrate our newfound freedoms and each other’s company with a meditation on European sparkling wine.
We’ll be drinking a glass each from two magnums, and nothing says “celebration” like large format traditional method wines!
Ticket includes:
1 x glass of NV Grand Reserve magnum, Dehours et Fils (Champagne France);
1 x glass of 2011 Espumante Vinha Formal, Luís Pato (Bairrada, Portugal);
both served with a matched canapé.
Ticket Conditions:

6pm, Friday the 8th of October, join me as I open two magnums of sparkling wine: One from Dehours et Fils of Champagne, France; & one from Luís Pato of Bairrada, Portugal.
Jérôme Dehours, based on the left bank of the River Marne in one of the cooler parts of Champagne, is regarded as one of the more exciting Champagne grower-producers to have emerged in recent decades. Champion of the unsung Pinot Meunier variety, his wines exude the passion and energy that he and his team put into every vintage.
Luís Pato, and once the Master and the Maverick of Bairrada, is famous for the age-worthiness of his wines- including his sparklings- or, espumantes. Traditional method wines have been made in his part of Portugal since 1890, and this heritage and expertise flows freely in each glass.
