Anxiety and stress are an increasingly common problem for people in our busy, modern world. These states of mind prevent us from experiencing peace and enjoying life
Meditation is an effective way to combat negative states of mind and create a sense of mental freedom. By gaining experience of Buddhist meditation techniques and positive thinking we can learn to control our mind, rather than allowing our mind to control us.
On this day course we will learn how to identify and remove the causes of anxiety and worry, and enjoy a more balanced and happy life.
About the Teacher:
Kelsang Shechog is a qualified Kadampa practitioner and teacher of Kadampa Buddhism. She has received extensive teachings of both Sutra and Tantra including the empowerments of Highest Yoga Tantra from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. Shechog has studied on the Special Teacher Training Programme and engaged sincerely in meditation retreats on both Sutra and Tantra.
She has dedicated her life to helping people solve their problems and find happiness through Buddha’s timeless instructions. Shechog has spent many years developing Kadampa Meditation Centres where she has inspired many people through her kindness and loving example and is much loved for her gentle manner, inner strength and clear, skillful teachings.
