Healing and Prophetic Revival Night
Thursday 5 August, Thames

About this event
Pray for Thames-Coromandel. Encounter the Helper, God's Holy Spirit - Hear from Guest Evangelist & Prophetic Speakers

Come hear about the Good News of Jesus! Then experience God's healing and love for you with prayers for salvation, healing, and encouragement from our two guest speakers. Experience the reality of God's love for each of us - we're known and loved with an everlasting love. Come experience the five-fold ministries of God's Holy Spirit gifts in action with Evangelist Don Simpson of Te Aroha (Pastor 4 Square Church) and Peter Kumar of North Carolina, USA (Prophetic Speaker, Endtimes Forerunner Ministries).

Te Aroha Evangelists Pastors Christine and Don Simpson will bring a word of God's reality from their experience, and share a bit of their work planting seeds of faith in prisons and faith communities throughout North Island. They have planted churches in Whangarei, Meremere, and Thames. They will share stories of how God has moved in their lives and others. Don will bring the gospel message that Jesus is living and present today and we are known by God as we follow His Son.

No matter how good a life we try to live, we still fall miserably short of being a good person. That is because we are all sinners. The Bible says, “No one is good—not even one” (Romans 3:10) and that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

Yet there is hope even in our fallen condition as the Bible tells us that “God showed His great love for us by sending [Jesus] Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” This is the Good News, that God loves us so much that He sent His only Son Jesus to die in our place; to take the penalty of your sin and mine upon Himself on the cross. Yet a few short days later, Jesus rose again, showing Himself to many before ascending to Heaven until He returns again to gather all who believe in Him home to spend eternity with Him, while those who reject Him will spend eternity separated from Him in hell, in the lake of fire (Revelation 21:8). The Bible tells us, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away” (Acts 3:19). The word repent means to change our direction in life. Instead of running from God, we can run toward Him. Becoming a Christian is not merely believing some creed or going to church. It is having Christ Himself take residence in your life and heart. Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to live in his heart and we will eat together. . .” (Revelation 3:20).

In these days of great change, come hear what God is saying to those who are listening to those who heed Him. If you want to hear more of what God's up to around New Zealand and around the world (Peter has come in obedience here for three months from North Carolina), come to be inspired, pray for Coromandel, encounter God, ask for your needs to be prayed for, get a prophetic word of encouragement. Entry by koha and a plate to share for supper, to cover costs of venue and travelling speakers.
