Riki Gooch is renowned as a brilliant drummer, music producer and composer who has worked with a who’s who of Aotearoa music, including as a founding member of Trinity Roots, with Neil Finn, Shayne P Carter, Ladi 6, Ria Hall, Fat Freddies Drop, Bic Runga and Orchestra of Spheres. Riki has created an astounding amount of music under the monikers Eru Dangerspiel, Cave Circles and DJ Oboe, ranging from electronic dance music, music for film and television, large ensembles and solo performance. He has won numerous awards for his music.

He is joined for his performance at CoCA by members of Little River-based taonga pūoro collective, Kiki Pounamu: Jake Kīanō Skinner and Poutokumanawa (Chelita Kahutianui Zainey).

Kōhatu Ensemble are a new music ensemble that work with stone and other natural materials, formed from some of the finest percussionists and musicians in Ōtautahi. They will be performing Christian Wolff's 1968 composition, "Stones".
