Te Puna Hunting and Fishing Club is hosting its annual 'Take A Kid Hunting and Fishing' competition. Open to entrants from 3-15 years of age with two age categories.

3-9 Years Old:
Snapper: 1st, 2nd, 3rd heaviest
Kahawai: 1st, 2nd, 3rd heaviest
Trevally: 1st, 2nd, 3rd heaviest
MOST - Bait Fish (Spotties/herrings/piper) 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Rabbits: 1st, 2nd, 3rd heaviest
Hares: 1st, 2nd, 3rd heaviest
Possums: 1st, 2nd, 3rd heaviest
Magpies: 1st most birds
10-15 Years Old:
Kingfish: 1st, 2nd, 3rd heaviest
Snapper: 1st, 2nd, 3rd heaviest
Kahawai: 1st, 2nd, 3rd heaviest
Trevally: 1st, 2nd, 3rd heaviest
Rabbits: 1st, 2nd, 3rd heaviest
Hares: 1st, 2nd, 3rd heaviest

Spot Prizes
Competition Headquarters and Weigh Station: Top Shot Bar, 15d Minden Rd, Te Puna
Registration/Entry: Must be paid no later than the start of briefing.
Cancellation: There will be no cancellation of the competition.
Briefing: 6 pm Friday 19th March. Parents/guardians of entrants are asked to attend the briefing at the Top Shot Bar to hear any last-minute rule changes and to collect starter packs.
Hunting and fishing times: Friday night 19th, Saturday 20th Sunday 21st March
Hunting and Fishing is permitted from the end of the briefing until the weigh-in starts. Entrants must be at the event in person to claim any prizes.
Prize Giving: Sunday 21st March from 3 pm.
Final weigh-in time: The weigh-in time is 12.30 pm to 2 pm.
