COVID 19 UPDATE : Yes we are in Level 4 Lockdown. So no live shows until we return to Level 2 or 1. If you have already booked a ticket for an up & coming show this can be transferred to a future similar show which may involve a refund and rebooking. Every Friday and Saturday night at 7:30pm it's the main event of the week featuring our favourite headliners, along with the rising stars and the pick of our new faces. There is a fresh line-up every week which you can check the details of on our website (www.comedy.co.nz) if they are not already listed here.
PLEASE NOTE : These shows regularly sell-out on Eventfinda and there are only very limited door sales available that cannot be reserved. The Classic recommends the L8 Show at 10pm as a quality alternative.
The Classic is a world class comedy club, according to all our international friends and customers, fully licensed and seated cabaret style with a full range of beverages and a snack menu.
This is the ideal night out for family, friends, the social network or your workmates or office party.

Advance bookings are always recommended for the weekend shows at The Classic
If you are looking for presales / bookings then we offer Exclusive Table seating for 2,4 or 6 people as well as Groups of 10 if required. There are a limited number of Exclusive Tables for 2 so book early for these, otherwise use General Admission bookings if all Exclusive Tables are booked.
For bigger groups (more than 10) just purchase a combination of tables under the same name to suit your Group size. e.g. A group of 25 = 2 x Tables for 10 / 1 x Table for 4 + 1 General Admission

The Classic bar & box office are open from 6:30pm.
We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the show to ensure you get a good seat.
This show is not suitable for Hen or Stag Parties.
Entry will be granted at the manager's discretion.
HOUSE RULES (the not so fine print!)
1/ We are Licensed 18+ (Supervised)
No one may be on the premises under the age of 18 unless supervised by a parent or legal guardian.
Suitable I.D. will be required.
2/ No intoxicated persons on the premises.
You will not be admitted or served if we judge that you are intoxicated. If you already hold a ticket refunds will only be offered at our discretion.
3/ No recording of shows allowed.
Please turn phones to silent and refrain from using them during performances.
4/ Please don’t heckle during the show.
If you interfere with other patrons enjoyment of the show they have paid to see then you may be removed from the venue.
5/ Please don’t make a dick of yourself!
