Dusty Room Productions and Glow House are proud to present ALONE, an intimate sci-fi drama about feminism, climate change and David Bowie. Back on home soil after its successful season as a headliner at the 2022 Sydney Fringe Festival!

"I don't remember the last time I was so invested in a piece of theatre." – Regional News

Winner: Best Theatre, Auckland Fringe 2020
Winner: SYNZ Tour Ready, NZ Fringe 2021
Winner: PANNZ Tour Ready, Auckland Fringe 2022

Aboard a crowd-funded spacecraft called ‘The Lily of the Nile’, a two-woman crew are on the home stretch of a two-year mission that could provide a solution for an Earth ravaged by climate change.

Pragmatic and passionate Doctor Sarah Taylor (Glass) believes her work with alien micro-bacterium could make Earth habitable once more. Jessica Holland (Bassett) – a charismatic and quick-witted young pilot – is charged with getting Doctor Taylor’s work and samples home.

Written and Directed by Luke Thornborough
Starring Kat Glass and Courtney Bassett

"... a rigorously crafted beast, with intricate lighting, set, sound and costume that further elevate the captivating narrative and the powerful performances of our core duo. Glass and Basset bring passion and fire to their friendly yet diametrically opposed characters. It’s clear this outfit is well-experienced, well-oiled, and professional-grade. Alone is definitely not one to miss!" - THEATRETRAVELS.ORG

"It’s just – just – possible there may be an equally good piece of dramatic theatre during #sydneyFringe2022 than ‘Alone’. But its virtually certain there won’t be one better." - CHUCK MOORE REVIEWS SYDNEY

Trigger warnings include: strobe lighting, physical violence, mature themes, coarse language, discussion of suicide
