Auckland Clef Music Club’s 75th Season comes to a close with this November Concert.
—CANDY CANES & CAROLS will bring us a selection of sacred and secular songs for the Season and provide an opportunity for our Members and Guests to farewell one another and the year 2022 before we meet again in February to commence our 76th Season.
There’s bound to an interesting variety of music, which will be presented by Clef Club Performers:

• Phyllis Thorburn — soprano
• Everett Thorburn — tenor
• Kerry Wood — soprano cornet
With Guest Performers:
• Jessica Sharp — soprano
• Catherine Martelli — piano
There’ll be a Christmas Carol Sing-along and Raffle this month plus our usual generous supper. However, this time it will be a little different; since it’s our last concert evening of the year, everyone will bring a plate of festive food to share — Even non-Member Guests who bring a plate will not be charged the usual $10 ticket-price.
Those who can not contribute a supper plate will be charged $10 entry
Newcomers please note that Clef Club’s concerts are held at the Fickling Centre venue, occurring from February through to November — normally on the third Tuesday of the month. (You can always check our blogspot http://clefclub.blogspot.co.nz for details.) For those keen on hearing mainly classical vocal and instrumental music on a regular basis and at reasonable cost, this is the place for you!
Everyone is welcome, either to join up as members, or on a casual basis and, of course, new singers and instrumentalists are especially welcome to augment our pool of Performing Members. We are also keen to attract accompanists willing to support our vocalists and instrumentalists in their performances.
Now is the ideal time to come along and see what we’re about, since our new 2022-2023 Season Subscription is just beginning. If you’re a performer, you can also see about arranging an audition.
