Spend quality time with mum in the peaceful setting of the village surrounded by idyllic gardens. Explore how mothers lived in the 1800's and try a variety unique activities as our monthly Live Days return!

Enjoy tea & scones served from the vintage china in the picturesque setting of beautiful Bell House built in 1851.

With workshops and demonstrations run by costumed Villagers taking place all day - churn butter from cream, make an old-fashioned lavender sachet, a rag rug from fabric scraps or try your hand at traditional crafts. The coal range in Puhi Nui homestead will be fired up, with fresh baking in the oven! The Sweet Shop will be open, offering an array of lollies, fudge and nostalgic treats. Catch traditional folk dance performances by Morris Dancers at 1 & 2:30pm.

Picnic in the gardens or pick up something from the Homestead café. Make a day of it!

Tea Services are at 11am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm. $10 per person. Bookings recommended. Please note there is only shared, unreserved seating and the service is buffet style due to volunteer limitations.

Unlimited tickets will be available on the day for admission. Adult $16, Student/ Senior $12, Child $8, Child under 5 free, Members & Annual Pass holders free. Last admission at 3pm.

LIVE DAYS take place on the 2nd Sunday of the month, every month except December. Learn about the past in an interactive and immersive way and experience the Village at its best - alive with people and the sights, sounds and smells of long ago!
