Dean Heazlewood - Organic One Man Band

Dean Heazlewood is an ex-guitarist of 80s pop band The Mockers. He has more recently been Elwood in the NZ Blues Brothers Show and singer-guitarist in the powerhouse blues and rock trio "Crossfire". Now he is getting back to basics with an "Organic" one man band show. "Organic" in this instance means no backing music, no looper, no harmoniser. Six instruments (guitar, harmonica, kick drum pad, home-made wine box kick snare drum, tambourine and voice) are played at the same time, with hands, feet and mouth. Bass guitar is provided by use of an octave pedal and and finger-picking guitar style.
Genres covered are blues, rock, classics, country, jazz, and acoustic greats. The sets also include heartfelt originals. Just honest good time music with a kick, and no frills.
