My private collection of all things Christmas including over 200 pieces by Jim Shore.
I have an absolute passion for Christmas, this is a time when we should all be sharing and caring about each other and not just family. We have 14 gorgeous themed areas with over 70 trees, many animated items and working trains, we have something for everyone.

We are not a Charity or Incorporated Society, which means we do not qualify for any public funding which is out there for clubs etc. We do from time to time get some private sponsorship from local businesses for which we are most grateful. This is something we enjoy sharing with the wider community, it is a delight to see the faces of young and old when they come through the Grotto and great to have so many folk from out of our district come to Marton for a visit. We encourage you to visit the fabulous new Te Āhuru Mōwai Playground at 397 Wellington Road while you are here.

Huge thanks to all the wonderful folk who support us.
