Military Equipment - At this time we will have the following ( Minimum ) on site....
At LEAST 50 Military vehicles from WW1 to the modern day - Some never seen before in public in NZ
3 ( Possibly more ) operational Tanks along with Bren Gun Carriers and other tracked Military vehicles
A 1945 NZ Pattern Wheeled Armoured Vehicle ( Ex Korean War - Built at NZ Rail Workshops in Trentham )
Daimler Dingo armoured vehicle
1908 Lacre Military Troop Truck from WW1
Field Artillery Display
Bofors Gun mounted on a Puddle Jumper
Assorted Jeeps, GMC's,
NZ Army will be supplying some current vehicles
Static military displays of equipment including
Fully Equipped WW2 Field Kitchen
WW2 Medical and Red Cross Display
30metre long WW1 trench that people can walk through with actors in period clothing and equipment
At least one mock battle each day - with military reenactors in period costume
OTHER EQUIPMENT ON DISPLAY ( Some of the numbers below will be updated closer to the event date )
More than 10 operating Traction Engines ( Most are 100 or more years old, and still working )
Threshing, Chaff Cutting, Baling and Rock Crushing displays, powered by traction engines
Many, Many vintage tractors ( And a few modern extreme machines )
Many, Many Vintage and Classic Trucks ( And some of the very latest max size rigs on the road )

$10 entry fee, EFTPOS available but prefer cash. No dogs allowed

Lots of plumbed in, clean, permanent toilets on site, no need to use portaloos :-)
