Life Drawing

This is a friendly eight-week evening class for beginners life drawing.

The figure is an attractive and fascinating subject. In our tutored life drawing class we provide a supportive relaxed environment where you can learn figure drawing and practice from a variety of great models. Enjoy an evening of figure drawing with instruction and effective ideas to develop.

Each week we will examine tested drawing exercises that are great for practising drawing the figure and valuable to help you problem solve. These exercises are effective and build your observational drawing. They build sensitivity to real shape, to gesture, form and the structure of figures. Our focus is to create figures that are convincing and have life.

Figure drawing is also valuable for extending an artist’s practice at any level. If you are beginning with figure work we will provide instruction, demonstrations and feedback to build your skill level.
