A fabulous family day is promised at Omaka, featuring the first public engine runs of the John Smith Mosquito, supported by an array of classic cars and warbirds on display.
Every ticket holder goes into the draw* to be a 'co-pilot' while the Mosquito engines are run-up. Yes, that's right, you'll get to sit in the cockpit! Sitting in a Mosquito while the engines roar is an opportunity of a lifetime and rare as a hen's teeth. You'd be crazy not to come!
In addition, joy flights will be available, great food and music, plus entry to the aviation museum is included in the ticket fee - usually $39pp. What a deal!
All money raised will go towards the ongoing upkeep of the Mosquito.
*Conditions apply. Please note face coverings are required (unless you hold a valid mask exemption) in all indoor areas and encouraged outdoors, especially when physical distancing is difficult. Hand sanitiser will be freely available throughout the venue. If you are feeling unwell, please stay home. Anyone displaying symptoms such as a cough, a runny nose or fever will be refused entry or asked to leave the premises. Thank you for your assistance.
