Our Hutt Christmas

Bring the whānau and come along to the south end of High Street in Lower Hutt for the return of late-night shopping, but with a twist. Many of your favourite shops and cafes will be open late, and there will be a sprinkle of market stalls and food trucks too! The Southend will be alive with Christmas jingles and entertainment, decorative retail windows and street art trees lining the footpaths.
On December 1st we are kicking off the festive season with our version of Lower Hutt’s late-night shopping. Start your Christmas shopping at many of the High Street shops. “Our Hutt Christmas”. Featuring a live music stage, entertainment by Musical Stars, Faultline Choir and a special kid’s area to relax and enjoy a treat or two between shops.
Located all along the footpath in the South End of High Street, there will be pop-ups of entertainment, crafts and food to entice a leisurely stroll around the city centre enjoying the sights, sounds and smells. Christmas on High Street will be in full swing from decorated retail windows, street art trees on the footpath and Christmas jingles abound.
Join us to welcome the silly season onto High Street, just like we used to do!
