The Riverbank Market is a weekly fruit and veggie market that started more than twenty years ago. It is a Lower Hutt tradition to come to the market on a Saturday morning, to shop for your fresh veggies, to eat from a variety of Wellington's best food trucks and meet up with friends and family.
It attracts market goers from across the region, it is one of the largest outdoor markets in Wellington Region. It opens at 6AM for early birds and starts getting busy by 8AM, The market closes at 2PM and is on every Saturday rain or shine.
It features between 40-60 stalls that include locally produced foods, you can buy eggs, cheese, meats and lots of ingredients to cook with.
Seasonal stalls pop up during peak seasons - cherries, summer fruits, Christmas gifts, you can find it all at the Riverbank Market.
