The 7 August show features Rose Lubransky, Yann Le Dorre, and Planet

Planet - "Bagpipes, excitement and Rock n' Roll". - Words you don't often hear in the same sentence. Planet mixes traditional bagpipe airs with post punk riffs and a dollop of vaudevillian good humour. It could be world music, it could be underground indie rock. It could be psychedelic folk music. But it's always approachable and certainly a lot of fun.

Yann Le Dorré sings saturnine folk songs for modern times and the stars too high in the sky. Drawing from 70’s singer songwriters, outlaw country legends and 90’s grunge acts, he writes for the divorces and drunkards in a series of acoustic reports from the rain drenched capital. Known for his work with Wellington's 'Gutter Folk' band, YOLK, Le Dorré will be stripping things back for the evening with an intimate solo set, featuring some familiar YOLK tunes & unreleased tracks from his upcoming solo project ‘Take Care of Yourself & Everyone Else’.

Rose Lubransky - Rose Lubransky engulfs you in emotion with their music. Their indie rock/ indie pop vibes takes you on a roller coaster with their variety of sound playing by themselves and with their band. Drawing inspiration from many different artists, their sound is unique to them.

Door from 6:00pm.
