Home Alone Music is proud to present Stelth Ulvang and Lake South.

Stelth Ulvang may be best known for his decade long stint as the pianist of americana greats, “The Lumineers” but it’s high time he is known for his solo career as well. The Colorado based multi-instrumentalist fills his songs with lyrically driven parables, tongue twisters, and cosmic wonderment.

Live, he brings a life to the songs fit for amphitheaters, living rooms, festival stages, or night clubs- playing anything ranging from Piano, Banjo, Guitar or accordion.

His first visit to NZ was a decade ago with piano-smith Shenandoah Davis, playing up and down the islands and in the last year of Camp-a-low-hum. Though his records may be chock-full of orchestral piano arrangements, and rock ballads, it’s the songs that hold it all together live or in recordings, and always worth experiencing their adaptations each time they’re sung anew.

Lake South is an electricUTOPIA artist from Aotearoa-New Zealand. DIY pop for the wireless – this is music for a future we forgot. He released his debut album 'If You're Born On An Island the Ocean Heals You' in 2017 and the follow-up, 'Wellington | Te Upoko O Te Ika', in late 2019. Both records have been critically acclaimed with Graham Reid calling Lake an "electro-folk postcard poet of his doubting generation". His 3rd album 'The Light You Throw' is a record full of hope, joy and defiance. Expertly crafted odes to friends, the cities they live in, and the futures they strive for.

Lake South has toured Canada, Aotearoa, and was booked to play at SXSW 2020 before the world changed.
