The Winning Wines Festival is the inaugural in-person event featuring a selection of winning wines from the 2022 New World Wine Awards. Brought to you in partnership with the New World Wine Awards, celebrating its 20th Anniversary, the evening marks the perfect chance to try some of the winning wines and judge them for yourself!
An intimate evening hosted at Ponsonby’s The Sapphire Room, guests can expect to enjoy tastings from a selection of award-winning wines from New Zealand and Australian wineries, including the likes of Church Road, Brancott Estate, Stoneleigh & Jacob’s Creek.
From 7pm there will be a 45-minute masterclass, featuring celebrity chef Hercules Noble, and Stoneleigh Winemaker, Jamie Marfell. Discussing their quintessential wine and recipe pairings, Hercules and Jamie will share some pantry tips & tricks & help you match your wines like a pro, with recipes you can easily recreate at home.
