An afternoon of Jazz on the rooftop under the big canopy, seats and bean bags provided...also pop up bar serving soft drinks, wine, beer and cider.
Toby and the Rest are a multi-award winning quartet, consisting of Max Barrett (drums) Toby Barrett (Saxophone) Tyler Diprose (Bass) and Lucas Kewell (Piano/keys) they have played several times in the Lopdell Theatre to sell-out performances. Last year between them they won 5 top awards at National Competitions in Tauranga, Wellington and Auckland. They were featured in the December issue of North and South magazine.
They will be playing a variety of jazz pieces ranging from Joseph Kosma and Burt Howard from the 1950's to Joshua Redman in the 90's. and many of their own compositions...one of which (Poor America by Lucas Kewell) won the award for most outstanding composition at the Wellington Jazz week.

With the latest RED rules on Covid we are allowed 100 tickets for sale, there will be 1 metre social distancing, all people will have to show a Covid Vaccination pass and mask wearing is advised. There is a lift to the rooftop for those with walking difficulties.
