Toyota Kiwi Guardians Ahuriri Estuary

Discover the Ahuriri Estuary with Toyota Kiwi Guardians during Conservation Week and earn a Kiwi Guardians Explorer medal.

The Toyota Kiwi Guardians is a whanau friendly activity aimed at 6 - 10-year-olds. Take your whanau and friends on an adventure around the Ahuriri Estuary walking track looking for a Guardian Post.

To start your adventure, download the Kiwi Guardian Ahuriri Estuary adventure map from the Department of Conservation webpage then head out to the Ahuriri Estuary walking track. Follow the map and find the special code word on the post. Write it down and on completion of your adventure, log on to the Kiwi Guardian website, tell us the code word and earn a special Kiwi Guardian Explorer medal which will be sent to you in the post. Put the medal on your backpack or pencil case to show everyone the adventure you've had.
