Petones seaside art and gift gallery will be running 5 watercolour classes during the April Holidays on Friday 14, Monday 17 and Tuesday 17 April. There are four subjects to select from :- Petone Beach, Petone Wharf. Plimmerton and an Able Tasman sunset view, then paint your own watercolour masterpiece under the guidance of experienced artist and tutor, Alfred Memelink. Alfred will guide you in a fun and friendly learning environment in an wonderful classroom overlooking the sea in what could be the most rewarding activity you do these holidays. No previous art experience is required as these workshops are suitable for both beginners and artists who would like to fine tune their skills and style a little further. If you think you can’t draw, there’s no need to worry about drawing as the painting outlines will already be drawn out for you so we can focus on the joys of watercolour painting in a relaxed and enjoyable, step-by-step procedure. All materials supplied so just turn up empty handed and leave two hours later with a completed painting and a beaming smile of creative satisfaction on your dial. Suitable for ages 7 – 17.

$25 includes all materials supplied, generously subsidized by Watercolour New Zealand Inc.

Please check out the other youth classes as well as our Wine & Watercolour twilight painting evenings for grownup’s which are also ideal for group party and work social events.
