Light up these April school holidays!
Join us as we experiment with the magic of light these April school holidays. Explore a wide variety of activities inspired by the exhibition 'Light from Tate: 1700s to Now' in paid workshops delivered by our team of art educators and artists.
Stop motion short films – Make a stop-motion short film and tell a story with light.
Light-up creatures – Create your own glowing creature using a mix of new and recycled materials.
Secret artworks – Learn about different ways to hide secret messages and drawings in an artwork and watch as they are revealed under UV light!
Cyanotypes – Learn how to make a cyanotype. Place objects on special coated paper and watch as an image magically appears.
Decorate a lamp shade – Play with paints, fabrics, colours, and patterns to create a unique, light-up piece of art to brighten up your home.
