Armstrong Foils Long Distance Wingfoil Race

Join us for some long distance racing in Tauranga, where entrants will compete against the GWA athletes. Whether you are an amateur wingfoiler or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome.

The races will change according to weather and wind direction where we will aim to have one long distance race on March 4 and 5. If conditions do not allow us to do this, we will then race on March 11.

The courses will be weather dependent, where the preferred race is from Mount Maunganui to Papamoa (downwinder). We will have set marks on the course which you will need to go around. If the wind is not suitable we will look at running a long distance figure 8 from Mount Mauganui to Papamoa or a long race out to sea and back.
