Indie-pop band Borderline have dropped their latest single 'Going Home (Bitter)' and to celebrate they're hitting the road for a four-date tour across the North Island.
Hitting Hamilton on April 14th, with support from local act Pineja.
Borderline made a splash in 2022 with their debut release ‘Spinning’ charting on the Hot Singles, Hot NZ Singles and RadioScope Most Added charts. With an innate sense of musicality and melody, the group is building a catalogue of smooth, upbeat original songs with wide appeal.
Pineja is a local up and coming band from Cambridge. Following up from their summer '23 gigs in Hamilton's Nivara Lounge, the Tauranga Waterfront Festival and supporting Strangely Arousing and Kurilpa reach at Raglan's YOT Club and Play it Strange, vocalist Ben Bonetti says "we're pumped to be asked to play support for Borderline with a set of our original funk, dub, and rock fusion. We love these opportunities, and just to get out and play, and to meet and mix with other musicians". Pineja have recently been back to The Porch recording studio, laying down more of their original music with a view to release an EP later this year.
