One of New Zealand’s funniest and best loved personalities, Dai Henwood will be speaking loudly in support of Unity Week, an initiative close to his heart.
Running from 15 to 21 March 2023 Unity Week is an initiative of the Sakinah Community Trust led by seven incredible women who lost loved ones in the tragic March 15th Christchurch mosque attacks. It is a coordinated approach to remember and honour the lives lost, while also promoting a socially cohesive society.
The message from founders is that everyone, regardless of their background or community, should feel welcome, respected, and loved for who they are and where they come from.
Dai Henwood couldn’t agree more. He’ll be talking about his personal journey and the part that unity played, and the importance of understanding, kindness and compassion in all our lives. Joining Dai will be Hamimah Ahmat founding member of Sakinah Community Trust, who will also share her story.
