On January 8, 2020, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps deliberately shot down Ukraine Airline Flight 752, minutes after takeoff from Tehran's Imam Khomeini International Airport. The plane was struck by two surface to air missiles and crashed in a field in the outskirts of Tehran, claiming the lives of all 176 passengers and crew. This was an unprecedented incident in aviation history: never before had a country's own military shot down a civilian aircraft leaving its own capital city airport. Among the victims were 63 Canadian citizens, as well as nationals from Ukraine, Sweden, Afghanistan and the UK.

752 is not a number follows Hamed Esmaeilion's quest for justice in the aftermath of losing his wife and daughter in this tragedy. His quiet life is transformed into a fight for justice as he's caught up in a web of geopolitical intrigue, international politics and legal complexities.

752 Is Not A Number is presented in partnership with Voice of Iranians (VOI) and Iranian Women in NZ (IWIN).
