Cape South Country Estate and Wellness Retreat hosts Kate & Cam McLeay are truly delighted to join forces with one of their all-time favourite inspirations - Megan May.
Megan is the chef and creator of Little Bird Organics and Little Bird Kitchen in Auckland. Her passion for organic plant-based wholefoods comes from growing up on an organic farm, studying environmental science and overcoming allergies and other health-related issues with a mostly raw plant-based diet.
Join Megan & the Cape South Dream Team as they to open the doors for a one-off, especially for you, FAWC “Design your own Day Retreat.”
After a welcome tea and property tour, guests are invited to choose between a guided trek with Cam, a yoga nidra session with Tibetan Singing Bowl Sound Healing with Kate, or the chance to enjoy the Cape South facilities at your leisure. F.A.W.C!ers will then enjoy a three course plant based wellness menu created by guest chef Megan May.
Your afternoon activity is once again up to you! Choose between joining Kate and Megan for a mindfulness meditation and plant-based cooking Q&A, a mountain bike across the farm to look over Waimarama Beach, or simply make yourself at home and enjoy the Cape South mineral pool, gym, spa and infrared sauna.
Ticket price includes welcome tonic, a choice of day retreat activities, three-course plant based lunch, house made kombucha, warming winter drink to close.
F.A.W.C! is a series of exceptional food and wine experiences set in stunning locations in Hawke’s Bay. Running twice a year, F.A.W.C! is a chance to get up close and personal with chefs and food producers, wine makers and the clever people that make up the New Zealand food and wine scene. F.A.W.C! Winter Series runs every weekend during June.
