This year’s Winter F.A.W.C! foodie film festival at the MTG Hawke’s Bay is bigger and better than ever! Every film will be teamed with a drink or snack, making them the perfect excuse to get cosy and settle in.
Scotch: A Golden Dream (rated PG; 88min)
The distillation of Scotch whisky, whose Gaelic name means "water of life", is a centuries-old practice. Journey to the Scottish countryside to uncover the history of the craft and meet some of the biggest names in the industry in a revealing look at how Scotch became the premier spirit of choice around the globe.
Included in your ticket is a mini scotch tasting in the theatre foyer. Doors open at 7pm so why not pop along for a tasting before your movie.
F.A.W.C! is a series of exceptional food and wine experiences set in stunning locations in Hawke’s Bay. Running twice a year, F.A.W.C! is a chance to get up close and personal with chefs and food producers, wine makers and the clever people that make up the New Zealand food and wine scene. F.A.W.C! Winter Series runs every weekend during June.
