F&bird Talk-protecting Lowland Biodiversity In E Marlborough

Rowan Hindmarsh-Walls is DOC Wairau's Biodiversity Supervisor, and a native plant enthusiast who is passionate about protecting native ecosystems. His talk will focus on lowland and coastal sites in eastern Marlborough from Rarangi to Kekerengu. He will highlight some of the special species and ecosystems in these areas and talk about the main threats to these ecosystems, and the challenges of managing them on a shoestring budget.
